Letter to Investors

Nomoskar. My name is Kumar Ji. I am from Northern India, but my home has been California for many years. I am a Master Ayurvedic Chef who has dedicated the last 35 years of my life serving healthy, healing vedic food to the world (including clients in the United States, Europe and Japan).

I write to you today to introduce myself and my business plan for the first vedic restaurant in California, with a business model that has the potential to expand throughout the United States and the world. Confident after a lifetime of experience and success, I am uniquely suited to realize this project.

I have developed a system of vedic cooking that is adapted to the cultural and ecological conditions of the west. My trainings are a direct cultural inheritance combined with extensive studies and practice of the art and science of traditional Ayurveda. Having lived in the United States for over 25 years, my recipies are innovative, drawing upon vedic tradition and based upon California seasonal organics and incorporating vegan and raw foods. The result? Food that balances, heals and energizes the whole body. Food of the highest quality that is created as an offering and a gift of nourishment to the world.

After many years of providing my extensive personal collection of recipes and menus to private clients throughout Northern & Southern California through Catering & Retreat Cooking and Private teaching lessons, I am now prepared and interested in expanding to a vedic restaurant.

I have had very succesful restuarant and catering businesses in India and in the United States and am confident that this proposal will be highly succesful and profitable. Why? Because the timing is right and demand for organic and vegetarian food is high.

This is a valuable and timely opportunity to encourage healthy living and expand cultural understanding. The demand for organic, Indian and vegetarian food is booming. The Bay Area of California is an excellent location with an expanding alternative health market.

OBJECTIVE: $300k Investment

I am looking for a silent partner. Starting with $30K to finalize my business plan and to fund the direct importation of organic Ayurvedic herbs, cooking supplies and decorations. In addition to food, the Ayurvedic Restaurant will also offer products such as for Health and Cooking. I have established direct connections with California wholesalers and producers and exporters of organic vedic spices and herbs in India.
